Creation of a New Labour Movement for the 21st Century

  1. Creation of a society that respects people:
    JSD is committed to truly establishing peace and security, respect for fundamental human rights, and democracy, which underline people’s lives.
  2. Creation of individuals who pursue self-actualisation throughout their lives:
    To this end, JSD aims at creating individuals who are autonomous and self-reliant, while at the same time establishing a firm foundation for their livelihood that strikes a balance between self-help and social assistance.
  3. Creation of citizen-centric autonomous communities:
    JSD places its origin of thought and action on people, and seeks to create autonomous communities by working together with citizens.
  4. Creation of an economy that vitalises people:
    JSD strives to create an economy that empowers people to actively try new things, and which is a knowledge-centric economy based on fair market, competitive companies and industries, rich human resources, skills and expertise.
  5. Creation of a nation that promotes international contribution with its intangible capabilities:
    JSD promotes international contribution by helping Japan and Japanese to establish their identity and exert leadership based on their human resources, skills and expertise, institutions and policies, and other intangible capabilities.
